Commercial Driver's License A Truck Driver

Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks to transport freight across designated routes. Your expertise will ensure timely deliveries, proper load handling, and adherence to safety regulations. Duties:

Safely operate CDL A tractor-trailers, including manual transmission trucks, across local, regional routes.
Ensuring secure and damage-free deliveries.
Drive a variety of specialized trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks as required.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Follow designated routes efficiently while maintaining accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and mileage.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to ensure safety standards are met at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record.
Experience driving tractor-trailers with manual transmissions preferred.
Proven delivery driver experience with knowledge of route driving and freight handling.
Familiarity with operating various truck types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving and vehicle maintenance.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers, customers, and team members.
